Marshall hosted Harper Creek in an I-8 Conference girls soccer match on Tuesday night.  Marshall was defeated by a final score of 4-1.  

 

In the 1st half, Marshall was unable to come up with answers when faced with Harper Creek's physical, aggressive attack.  Despite some bad luck on the 1st goal, Marshall gave up three first half goals and went into halftime trailing by a 3-0 score.  In the 2nd half, Marshall played much better soccer.  Dominating the scoring chances and really taking play at Harper, but they were unable to get an early goal which might have shifted momentum.  Against the run of play, Harper scored a fourth goal to take a 4-0 lead.  To Marshall's credit, they did quit and continued to try to attack and create chances, but they found the final pass or shot elusive.   After a handball in the box, Marshall's Ollie Rozell deposited the resultant penalty kick in the back of the net to make the score 4-1 which would go on to be the final score.
