Game 1 Marshall 25, Pennfield 3

The Redhawks earned the win in this shortened 5 inning contest. Offensively for Marshall there was a lot of firepower. Addison Carden (3 doubles), Bella Ryan (home run), and Alayna Hayes all had 4 hits. Lauren Lewis, Gwen Beach, and Abby Judy all collected 3 hits as well. Layne Churchill started and went 1.1 innings, with Addison Carden coming in and picking up the win, tallying 7 strikeouts. 

 

Game 2 Marshall 23, Pennfield 3

In game two, the Redhawks continued to pour it on, collecting 16 hits in 3 innings. Leading the way for Marshall were Gwen Beach (3-3 5 rbi) and Brooke Carden (2-4 with a HR). Addison Carden, Alayna Hayes, Lauren Lewis, Claire Kelly, and Bella Ryan all collected 2 hits in the game. Claire Kelly pitched 3 innings for the win,  giving up 3 hits, 0 earned runs, and striking out 8 batters.
