Marshall Boys and Girls Track and Field 5/2

Both teams traveled to Stockbridge for the first time for a 12 team varsity invitational. Our girls team finished with a strong 4th place finish.
The boys competed through the last race of the night and came away with the 1st place trophy.
Top performers for the girls were Georgianna Schmidt (400) PR 107.51, Lontasia Brewer PR (800), Savanna Richmond PR (1600) 5:50.22, She also took first in the (3200) with a PR of 12:45.36. The 4x200 girls took 3rd with a PR of 1:56.94. (Maura Young, Paula Sanchez, Taylor Bohney, Emily Dingee). Jantonia Grey threw a PR in Disc (92'10"), Emily Dingee 1st (Long Jump) 16'.
The boys were lead by Akin Olapade PR (100) 11.55, Ty

This was a great night for both the boys and girls T&F teams. Their hard work during practice showed on the track last night.
